What is Pork Crackling?
Pork crackling is the rind from the pig. We use top quality rind to give you the perfect crunch which is combined with our flavours.
What is Beef Jerky?
Our Beef Jerky is beef which is precisely dehydrated then our blend of spices added to give you the perfect flavour combination.
Sometimes jerky is referred to as 'biltong'.
Have you been given a rating hygiene rating?
YES! We're delighted (and not shocked) that we were inspected on 30th July 2024 and receive a perfect 5 VERY GOOD rating. This is the highest you can receive. If you want to verify this, check out ratings.food.gov.uk & enter 'The Crackling Guy' as the business name. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and fantastic cooking methods.
How do I store your products?
Crackling:
You can either store your tubs in a cool, dry place or in the fridge, whatever your preference! We’ve had testing completed and our crackling will last up to 4 weeks from production (please check the use by date on each tub).
Jerky:
We recommend storing them in a cool dry place, within the packaging you receive. It has a press seal so you can open & reseal as many times as you like.
How will my delivery be sent?
We use a couple of different couriers to help get our amazing products to you! We aim to deliver as soon as possible, but we do advise 5-7 days.
Where can I pick up your products 'in-person'?
We attend various markets, mainly around the North-East… please keep an eye on our Facebook for updates on ‘where to find us’.
Alternatively, you can pick up directly from our depot in Blyth once an order has been placed. For this, please select ‘pick up instore’ option. We’ll then be in contact with you to arrange a suitable date/time.
Do other business' stock your products?

Do you have nutritional values for each product?
We're in the process of arranging for all of our products to be tested, so they can give us all of the required nutritional information. Once we've received the results, we'll update on each items page.
Are your products 'Keto' friendly?
Yes, we're Keto friendly. This means, we have the right balance in our products of 'low-carb, high-fat & adequate protein' to fit in with your lifestyle choices.
